YouTube TV won't load live channels, shows an error, or keeps buffering while VPN Super is connected? This guide covers the most common causes, steps to try, and what to do if playback is slow.
Note: YouTube TV checks your current playback area and may not play content while a VPN is connected. If you see a location or VPN/proxy error, follow YouTube TV's instructions to update your playback area.
Live channels and Library recordings can behave differently. If one plays and the other doesn't, sign out of YouTube TV, sign back in, and try again after step 4. If only one channel fails, try another channel to check whether the problem is with that channel rather than your connection.

If your speed is fine but buffering continues, work through steps 1 to 3 above.
Most of the steps above also apply on Apple TV and Android TV. For TV-specific troubleshooting, see How to fix common issues on Apple TV or How to fix common issues on Android TV.
