VPN Super hides your IP while you play. It won't lower your ping or get you into easier lobbies.
Five honest reasons to connect. Lower ping isn't one of them, and this page won't pretend otherwise.
Other players and services see the VPN server's address, not the one your provider gave you.
Campus and office networks often block game traffic. Encryption stops them seeing what you connect to.
Connect to your usual region before you launch, so your account doesn't look like it teleported
Hotel and airport Wi-Fi is shared with strangers. An encrypted tunnel keeps your traffic to yourself.
VPN Super runs a no-activity-logs policy, so there's no record of what you played or when.
Get the app for Windows, iPhone, or Android. Windows needs Premium; mobile has a free version.
Tap Fastest Location, or pick manually using the latency shown next to each server. Lower is better.
Connect first, then open Fortnite. Starting the VPN mid-match is what triggers most connection errors.
Works on iOS, Android, Windows, Mac, Android TV, and Apple TV. Up to 10 devices. No console app.
Fortnite has eight matchmaking regions. Match the VPN server to the one you already play in.
| Your location | Recommended VPN server | Why |
|---|---|---|
| NA-East | New York, Atlanta, Miami, Virginia, Washington DC | 11 East Coast cities, with 10Gbps servers in New York and Miami |
| NA-Central | Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City | 10 Central cities, with 10Gbps servers in Chicago and Dallas |
| NA-West | Los Angeles, Seattle, Denver, Las Vegas | 13 Western cities, with a 10Gbps server in Los Angeles |
| Europe | London, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Paris | Dense European coverage, with 10Gbps servers in the UK, Spain, Sweden, and Austria |
| Brazil | Brazil | Keeps you on the BR region instead of drifting to NA |
| Asia | Premium locations across the region | Tokyo, Singapore, Seoul |
| Oceania | Sydney | Australia locations on Premium |
| Middle East | Turkey, Israel | No VPN Super location sits inside the ME region. These are the closest. |
Fortnite has eight matchmaking regions. Match the VPN server to the one you already play in.
| Your location | Recommended VPN server | Why |
|---|---|---|
Brazil | A city in your home region | Your matchmaking region follows your ping, not your account |
| Mexico | Your usual NA city | Keeps lobbies and ping consistent with home |
| France, Spain, Germany, Netherlands | Your home-region city | Stops your account location jumping between sessions |
| Türkiye | Turkey | Premium includes Turkey locations |
India | India | Premium includes India locations |
Australia | A VPN won't fix this | It's an app store restriction, not a network one |
China | A VPN won't fix this | The game isn't operating there, so there's nothing to route to |
Premium servers run at up to 10Gbps, built for gaming, streaming, and anything speed-sensitive.
WireGuard adds minimal latency. It's the go-to protocol for gamers who need speed without sacrificing encryption.
Choose a server near your game's infrastructure for the lowest ping, or unblock content from other regions.
Game for as long as you want. VPN Super doesn't set bandwidth limits or slow your connection.
One Premium Subscription covers your phone, tablet, laptop, and PC all at once.
Route your game through the VPN while keeping other apps on your local network. Available on Android.
The free version is real and usable. It just doesn't cover the platform most Fortnite PC players use.

Straightforward app. I connect before I play and then forget about it for the rest of the evening.
Being able to see the latency next to each server before connecting is the part I actually use.
Set it up on my phone and my PC in about five minutes. No fuss, no settings I didn't understand.
Using a VPN is not itself against Epic's Community Rules. What gets accounts sanctioned is what some people use a VPN for: manipulating matchmaking to find easier opponents, or getting back onto an account Epic already banned. Epic's sanctions run from a matchmaking ban to a permanent account ban, decided case by case. Connect for privacy and you're on solid ground. Connect to game the system and you're not.
That message is about your connection, not your gameplay. It fires when the IP address you're on is shared by a lot of people, or when your apparent location moves between sessions. Work down this list and stop when the game lets you back in.
Usually no. Your traffic takes an extra hop to the VPN server before it reaches Epic, and that hop costs milliseconds. The exception is an internet provider that routes you badly, where the VPN's path happens to be cleaner. Test it honestly: check the latency next to each server in the app, then play several unranked matches with and without the VPN before you decide.
Use Fastest Location, or pick manually using the latency figure next to each server in the app. Lower is better. Physical distance is a poor guide on its own, because routing and peering matter more than miles. Whatever you pick, stay in the region you normally play in.
No, and VPN Super won't help you do it. Epic treats matchmaking manipulation as a rules violation and can restrict matchmaking or ban the account outright. Fortnite also ships its own Matchmaking Region setting, and Epic's advice there is: "We recommend using Auto for the best connection." If Auto isn't giving you a good game, the problem is usually your connection, not your region.
On mobile, yes. VPN Super's free version covers 20 countries and 42 locations on iOS, and 15 countries and 26 locations on Android, with ads. On PC there is no free version, because the Windows app is Premium only. So if you play Fortnite on a Windows PC, a free plan won't cover you.
Only if the problem is your network, not your store. Fortnite is back on the App Store on iPhone and iPad around the world, with Australia the exception. A VPN changes the route your traffic takes; it doesn't change which country your Apple account is registered to or what your store lists.
VPN Super doesn't have a console app, and configuring a VPN by hand outside the app isn't supported on any platform. If you play Fortnite mainly on console, this page probably isn't for you.
A VPN replaces the IP address other services see with the VPN server's address, which takes away the most common way someone finds a target. It is not a DDoS protection product and VPN Super doesn't sell one. Treat it as removing an easy target, not as a shield.
No. VPN Super runs a no-activity-logs policy. Your connection is encrypted between your device and the VPN server, so your internet provider can see that you're connected to a VPN, not which game you're playing.
iOS, Android, Windows, Mac, Android TV, and Apple TV, on up to 10 devices at once. For Fortnite that means Windows for PC play and iOS or Android for mobile. iOS and Android have a free version; Windows, Mac, and the TV apps are Premium only.
